Commissions

I accept commissions! If you have an idea of something you'd like me to work on, please feel free to contact me via the form below and we can talk about it!

Some example commissions I've done in the past include:

• Family crests or maps
• Nostalgic paintings (the home you grew up in, first place you met your spouse, favourite travel destination) 
• Travel photos turned into paintings

Please note that I am no longer offering acrylic/canvas commissions. 

While I want to try and say yes to everyone and everything, my artistic style generally revolves around landscapes, architecture, and nature. If you have something that lies outside of this, please feel free to still get in touch and I can see if it's something I can accommodate.

Pricing for commissions varies depending on size of the canvas/paper, time given, and materials used. 

Here is a table of general commission costs based on size and material (again prices are subject to change based on level of detail, materials and time involved)

Before I start a commission, we'll go over exactly what you're looking for, where I'd be shipping to, shipping costs, deadlines (if applicable), and other expectations about the work. I want to make sure that you're happy and excited for what I'm about to create for you :) 

To secure the commission, I require a 20% upfront deposit, payable by PayPal, etransfer, or invoice. For commissions over $200, I require a deposit of 35% of the cost to pay for materials so I can get started, and the remaining amount to be paid when I've finished the commission and before I've shipped it out. 

Payment for commissions can be done through eTransfer, credit card, or PayPal via the secure online checkout. 

I strive to keep open communication with you about the commission so you always have an idea of what stage I'm at. Before I start painting I will reach out with my concept sketch to make sure you're okay with me moving on.

If you are interested in me doing a commission for you, when filling out the form below please let me know:

• What you're looking to have done (subjects) and colour scheme (if applicable) 
• Size of painting
• Deadlines (I will see if I can meet these deadlines based on current commissions)
• Links to any photos of the place(s) you want painted 

With consulting, ongoing commissions, and creating content, I strive to reply to your queries within 24-36 hours.
