Behold, a busy and colourful painting of a quaint bookshop in the heart of Paris. With its iconic green and yellow storefront, it's hard to mistake the Shakespeare and Company book store.
Originally called Le Mistral, this Parisian bookstore was built in 1951 by an American by the name of George Whitman, in a 16th-century monastery. His daughter, Sylvia, now owns and looks after the bookstore.
Situated by the Seine and across from Notre Dame, this beautiful shop is known by book lovers and literary enthusiasts around the world.
