This colourful and lively scene is of High Street, in the center of Galway city, close to Eyre square.
As you stroll from the Square through to shop Street, aptly named for its array of shops and cafes, you approach High Street.
To the left is the medieval King's Head Pub, built in 1649, with hundreds of years of history. A busker plays his tune on the right-hand side, an iconic experience in these parts of Ireland.
Past this, you would reach the more lively Quay Street in the Latin Quarter, pubs and restaurants lining each side of the street.
Galway city is known for its vibrant nightlife, friendly people, art culture, and established gastronomy. Let this painting remind you of all the wonderful things that Galway has to offer!
Original painted using watercolour and India ink on cold-pressed watercolour paper.
- Printed using premium acid-free ink on lustre photo paper
- Quality inks designed to last for 100+ years
- Prints are packaged in a clear poly sleeve with hardboard backing and shipped in a bubble mailer to ensure it is protected on its journey to you.
Although I use high-quality paper and inks for the prints, it is recommended to keep them out of direct sunlight and to avoid keeping the print in very high or low temperatures. This will ensure its longevity so you can enjoy it for decades to come.
